Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT (9Y0)
2021– · Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT (9Y0) — Super SUV, V8 Twin-Turbo, designed by Michael Mauer.
The Story
The Cayenne Turbo GT is the most extreme Cayenne ever built — a 631-hp, V8-twin-turbo super-SUV that genuinely embarrasses sports cars. Launched in 2021 as a Coupé-only flagship, it took the already-formidable Cayenne and unleashed the GT department on it: more power (631 hp), bespoke suspension, a wider track, carbon-ceramic brakes, a wild aero kit and a savage soundtrack. The result lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:38.9 — making it the fastest SUV ever round the Green Hell at the time, and putting it in the same lap-time zone as a Ferrari 458 or Lexus LFA. As one reviewer put it, anyone else building a performance SUV may as well give up: Porsche has won the game.
