McLaren 750S
2023–present · McLaren 750S — Supercar, V8 Twin-Turbo, designed by Robert Melville.
The Story
The 750S answers a simple question: how do you improve the car widely called the best supercar of its generation? McLaren’s answer wasn’t to reinvent the 720S but to refine it — roughly a third new parts, ~30 kg lighter (the lightest series-production McLaren), 740 bhp, quicker steering, 765LT-derived hardware, and a serious focus on the one area the 720S was criticised for: everyday quality and electronics.
The result was so good Top Gear named it Performance Car of the Year for 2024 and declared that where “McLaren’s finest achievement to date was the 720S, the 750S tops it.” Cars.com framed it perfectly: it “splits the difference between the nearly perfect 720S and the incomprehensible 765LT.”
In an era of heavy hybrids, the 750S stays light, analogue-feeling and savagely fast — the purist’s modern Super Series.

Studio Motors POV
The 750S is the thinking driver’s modern McLaren: the benchmark 720S made lighter, sharper and finally easy to own, while everyone else adds hybrid weight. Top Gear’s Car of the Year for good reason.

Questions
750S FAQ
How much horsepower does the McLaren 750S produce?
The McLaren 750S produces 740 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged M840T V8, with approximately 30 kg of weight reduction over the 720S and revised aerodynamics for improved downforce.
How fast is the McLaren 750S from 0 to 60 mph?
McLaren’s official spec for the 750S is 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and 206 mph flat out; Car and Driver instrumented testing now reports quicker 0-60 results, so headline 2.8s is the official 0-100 km/h figure rather than a quoted 0-60 mph time.
How does the McLaren 750S compare to the 720S it replaced?
The 750S gains 30 bhp over the 720S for 740 bhp total, sheds approximately 30 kg, includes a revised PCC III suspension package, and adds optional Senna-derived braking hardware — amounting to roughly a third of all parts being changed.
What is the McLaren 750S price?
McLaren 750S launch U.S. pricing was approximately $318,000-$337,000 per Car and Driver. Near-new used examples often trade above the original list price depending on body style and specification.
Can you lease or finance a McLaren 750S?
Yes. The 750S is in current production and available through specialist lenders for lease and financing.
