The Story
If the Bacalar reopened Mulliner’s coachbuilding doors, the Batur of 2022 walked through them carrying Bentley’s future and its past at once. Just 18 coupes, each around £1.65 million, made it the most expensive — and, with the most powerful W12 ever built (740 hp), the most powerful — production Bentley to that point.
It was also a design manifesto: penned under Andreas Mindt, the Batur’s bold new face was a rolling preview of the styling that would define the 2024 Continental GT. Equal parts grand finale for the 6.0 W12 and overture for what comes next.
