Bugatti Chiron
2016–2024 · Bugatti Chiron — Hypercar, W16 Quad-Turbo, designed by Achim Anscheidt.
The Story
When Bugatti had to follow the Veyron — the car that had already cracked 250 mph and 1,000 PS — it didn’t just chase a bigger number. The Chiron, launched at Geneva in 2016 and named after pre-war Bugatti ace Louis Chiron, kept the quad-turbo 8.0-litre W16 but rebuilt it around new turbos, a Le Mans-grade carbon monocoque, and a cooling system that moves ~60,000 litres of air a minute. The result: 1,500 PS, a 261 mph limiter, and the everyday manners of a luxury GT.
The Chiron’s real trick was making 1,479 hp feel calm. Of its 500 build slots, the halo derivatives and coachbuilt one-offs spun off a whole family, and the Super Sport 300+ became the first production car past 300 mph. It is the last great flowering of the W16 before the hybrid Tourbillon era.
For Studio Motors it is the modern blue-chip benchmark: the most attainable of Bugatti’s modern halo cars, yet still one of the rarest, most capable cars on earth.

Studio Motors POV
The smart entry into modern Bugatti ownership: the full W16 halo experience of the rarer coachbuilds at a fraction of their cost — and as the last ‘standard’ W16 Bugatti, its place in history is already secure.

Studio Buyer’s Brief
The Sport (lighter, sharper) and Pur Sport (short gearing, huge downforce) are the driver’s picks; the Super Sport / 300+ carry the speed-record cachet and the firmest values. Delivery-low mileage is the norm and expected. Verify full Bugatti service history (W16 maintenance is six-figure) and complete tool/luggage sets. Coachbuilt one-offs trade on another plane.
