The Story
When the Mulsanne bowed out in 2020, the third-generation Flying Spur — all-new in 2019 on the same MSB platform as the Porsche Panamera and current Continental GT — quietly took the flagship crown. And it earned it: a 200-mph limousine that, as Top Gear noted, was stately enough to usurp the now-deceased Mulsanne, yet awesome to drive too.
With four-wheel steering, a fold-away illuminated Flying B and a powertrain menu running from 626-hp W12 to V8 to V6 plug-in hybrid, it does the Rolls-Royce Ghost trick of cosseting — then, with a twist of a dial, drives like something a third its size.
