The Story

The Valour is Aston’s love letter to the analogue driver, built to mark the company’s 110th anniversary in 2023. It takes the 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 (705 bhp) and – astonishingly – bolts it to a 6-speed MANUAL gearbox, by Aston’s reckoning the first turbo V12 ever paired with three pedals.

Styled with deliberate 1970s muscle – a nod to the 1977 V8 Vantage and the one-off Victor – it has exposed metal, plaid seats and a gearlever milled like jewellery. Just 110 were built, all sold instantly; the track-focused Valiant grew out of it.

What Reviewers Said About Valour

Impossible to make a sensible case for, but laudable all the same just for existing.Ollie Kew (Top Gear) · Top Gear (Valour review) · 2024
The shift is silky, with just enough mechanical feel, and beautifully precise.Autocar · Autocar (Valour review) · 2024
A worthy successor to the Vantage V600 of the 1990s: another heavyweight bruiser with more poke than was strictly advisable.Top Gear · Top Gear (Valour review) · 2024

Studio Buyer’s Brief

A sold-out 110-car collectible, so condition, mileage and a desirable Q spec drive everything. The manual gearbox is the whole point – confirm it’s unmodified and the heritage trim (plaid, exposed metal) is intact. Appreciating from new.

Questions

Valour FAQ

Is the Aston Martin Valour really a turbo V12 with a manual gearbox?

Yes. Aston Martin describes the Valour as the first twin-turbo V12 Aston Martin ever paired with a manual gearbox. Its 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 produces 705 bhp, matched to a six-speed Graziano manual transmission — an extraordinary combination in modern automotive terms.

How many Aston Martin Valours were built?

Aston Martin built exactly 110 Valours, a number chosen to mark its 110th anniversary in 2023. All examples sold out within two weeks of the car’s reveal in July 2023.

What is the Aston Martin Valour worth today?

Public realised-market data for the Valour does not support the often-quoted $1.6-2.3M range. Classic.com shows a no-sale at $1.3M, a sale at €1.05M, and an RM Sotheby’s sale at €1.518M. Original MSRP was approximately $1,665,000. The 110-unit run with unique turbo V12 manual drivetrain has held value but higher asks aren’t confirmed realised trades.

Can you buy an Aston Martin Valour?

All 110 examples were sold out within two weeks of reveal. Acquisition is through the secondary market only.
