Aston Martin Valiant
2024 · Aston Martin Valiant — Grand Tourer, V12 Twin-Turbo, designed by Marek Reichman.
The Story
The Valiant began as a personal commission: Aston’s F1 driver Fernando Alonso wanted a harder, race-inspired Valour – and the twist was so big Aston turned it into a 38-car limited edition. The 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 is wound to 735 bhp, still through a 6-speed MANUAL, in a stripped, carbon-bodied, half-caged track weapon.
Its aero wheel covers nod to the wild 1980 RHAM/1 ‘Muncher’ Le Mans racer; magnesium and titanium shave weight everywhere. It’s the most hardcore front-engined Aston of the modern era.

Owners & what to look for
Famous Owners
Originated as a personal commission by two-time F1 champion Fernando Alonso, who wanted a ‘more extreme, race car-inspired’ Valour (source: Motor1). The other 38 owners are not publicly listed.
Studio Buyer’s Brief
At 38 cars it’s among the rarest modern Astons – provenance is paramount, and any car with an Alonso/works connection commands a premium. Confirm the manual, half-cage and Muncher-spec aero are unmodified. A track special bought to keep, not thrash.

Questions
Valiant FAQ
Did Fernando Alonso commission the Aston Martin Valiant?
Yes. The Valiant originated as a personal commission from two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso, who requested a more extreme, race car-inspired version of the Valour. Aston Martin subsequently built 38 examples, with Alonso’s commission anchoring the project.
How many Aston Martin Valiants were built?
Aston Martin built exactly 38 Valiants in 2024. It debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and all examples were sold before the car was publicly revealed.
What is the difference between the Aston Martin Valiant and Valour?
The Valiant is a track-focused evolution of the Valour, with power raised from 705 bhp to 735 bhp, a full carbon-fibre body, a half roll cage, magnesium and titanium components, and aerodynamic wheel covers inspired by the 1980 RHAM/1 Le Mans racer. Like the Valour, it retains the six-speed manual gearbox. It is lighter and more circuit-capable while remaining technically road-legal.
Can you buy an Aston Martin Valiant?
All 38 examples were sold before public reveal and acquisition is through the secondary market only.
