Designed by Giotto Bizzarrini. Giotto Bizzarrini’s all-alloy V12, designed for the 350 GTV (1963) and detuned for the road — Lamborghini’s signature engine for ~47 years. Grew 3.5L→6.5L; gained four cams with the Miura. Powered the Countach/Diablo/Murcielago and the LM002 ‘Rambo Lambo’. Retired 2010 with the Murciélago (last: LP670-4 SV, 661–670 hp).
