Designed by Joint Ferrari–Maserati (built at Maranello). Long-running NA V8 shared across Ferrari/Maserati, with an Alfa offshoot. Tipo F136 E→F430/Scuderia (4.3), IB→California (4.3), FB→458 Italia (4.5), FL→458 Speciale (4.5). The 4.5L 458 unit won International Engine of the Year.
