Designed by Mauro Forghieri (racing origin); road dev. Giuliano De Angelis. F1-derived layout (1964 1512 GP; title-winning 312B/312T). Marketed ‘Boxer’/’BB’ but shares crank pins, so it is a 180° V12 not a true boxer. BB cars 2-valve (tipo F102); Testarossa onward 4-valve (tipo F113). Ferrari-exclusive. The Testarossa row also represents the later 512 TR (428 PS) and F512 M (440 PS).
