The Carrera GT’s 5.7 L NA V10 (Type 980/01) — traces to a 3.5 L F1 unit secretly built for the Footwork (Arrows) team in 1992, revived and enlarged for the stillborn LMP2000 (9R3) Le Mans prototype, then bored to 5.7 L for the road car. 612 PS, ~8,400 rpm; the last great analog hypercar engine.
